New York Releasing $187M in Water Infrastructure Grants

New York state has started awarding millions in water infrastructure grants.

In May, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gave New York $187,379,000 to finance improvements for water projects. Most of the funds are for wastewater projects to be delivered through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund program. The state is also awarding $39.9 million of the total for drinking water projects through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund.

This month, Governor Andrew Cuomo is awarding specific projects by state region through the Water Infrastructure Improvement Act.
