$10K Bike Infrastructure Grants

Bike infrastructure grants from People for Bikes can help offset the costs of state and Federal grant-funded bike lanes and more.

The Spring cycle for the People For Bikes Community Grant Program is currently open with letters of interest due on January 19, 2018. These are additional bike infrastructure grants for grant-funded bike paths, bike trails, bike lanes, rail trails, mountain bike trails, bike parks, facilities and large-scale bicycle advocacy.

People for Bikes has invested $3.3 million and leveraged nearly $770 million in both public and private funding for projects in all states and Washington, D.C.

Non-profit organizations, city or county agencies or departments and state or federal agencies working locally may apply for up to $10,00 for engineering, design, construction — including materials, labor and equipment rental –as well as volunteer support costs.

At least 50 percent funding match is required.

Applicants invited to submit a full application will be notified by February 23rd and online applications will be due April 6th with awards announced May 25th.
