The city of Virginia Beach is considering options for Building Two at the Municipal Center, the site of a municipal workplace mass shooting that left 12 dead, according to a recent report by WTKR.com.

About two weeks later, city staff presented three possibilities for the building that house four municipal departments that would cost between $129-145 million. Options include tearing it down and renovations.

In one renovation scenario, the building would be renamed 5-31 to commemorate the date of the shooting, and Beach police headquarters would be relocated there.
